“If God be for us, who can be against us?”- Romans 8:14

JUBILEE
After giving thanks to God for healing, deliverance and many lessons learned to date, the 1979 classic oldie “Ain’t No Stoppin’ Us Now” by McFadden & Whitehead came to my spirit. “Ain’t no stopping us now, we’re on the move…don’t you let nothing, NOTHING, stand in your way”, played inwardly on repeat!
My faith was stirred! I searched for the song on YouTube to listen closely to the message within it. The lyrics were like fresh fuel in a stalled car. I received the words as an ode of celebration— divine proclamations, and instructions to forbid anything that may try to stand in the way of progress. Hope filled me up with great anticipation for triumphant victory.
THE IRONY OF OBSTACLES
Days after the musical divine inspiration, a test swiftly arose. Hurdles popped up left and right to try my faith. I remembered Jesus’ words in Luke 8:13. I prayed for the grace to be suited and rooted! The mercy of God prevented interruptions from impeding motion forward.
In the past, similar disturbances would have deterred advancement. Though a minor slowdown occurred, progress continued with small steps. As the Holy Spirit restored strength and endurance to persevere, I sensed a greater message between the lines.
In a vision, I saw an obstacle course. I perceived the Holy Spirit saying,“the way to it, is through it”. At the finish line, answered prayers and promises were reserved to be obtained on the other side. Again, “the way to it, is through it”.

I reflected on past hinderances and lifted areas of brokenness and trauma still in need of healing in prayer. I humbled myself before the LORD to ask for deeper understanding. The Holy Spirit led me to a testimony of God’s strength and power through life’s “obstacle course” in Psalm 18:29-36. Verses 29-32 spoke to me most.

REFLECTION’S LESSON
To be transparent, I spent most of life in survival, dodging obstacles left and right. As the Holy Spirit ministered to me, I was strengthened to face areas I previously ran from. As God said to me— and anyone this post resonates with, in this season, “the way to it is through it”!
STRENGTH, FAVOR & BLESSINGS
I don’t know what your “it” may be, just know that Deuteronomy 31:8 says, “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Ephesians 6:16 says, “faith “quenches every fiery dart …”. Matthew 17:20 reminds us that faith also has the power to move mountains!

When we reach the threshold of our strength, God’s supernatural power, strength, ability, might, miracle, grace, favor, kindness, and blessing is activated. At the end of human will, God’s good and perfect will is enacted. Today, we’re reminded to rest in God’s omnipotence.

In 2 Corinthians 12:8-10, Paul pleads with God to remove an affliction Paul referred to as “a thorn in his flesh”. To Paul’s prayer God answered, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”

WE’RE MORE THAN CONQUERORS
“…If God be for us, who can be against us”.
1. We belong to God. The Holy Spirit endows us with power to be God’s chosen witnesses. Isaiah 43:10-11.
2. “The way to it is through it!”! Tests and challenges are part of the faith journey. Romans 8:31, James 1:3-8 affirms that God is for us and ready graces the keys of wisdom we need to be successful!
3. Rest in God Almighty. “Dunamis, Charis is activated in our weakness. Let no test or obstacle steal your faith. Jesus came so that we “may have life more abundantly”. “With God, all things are possible”.
