“FILL SLOW & STEADY. IT’S REFRESHING & SOLID WHEN READY”

WHO’S DOING THE POURING?
Yesterday, as I was filling up an ice tray, the Holy Spirit highlighted the overflow of it. I noticed that when I concentrated on pouring the water in one spot, it effortlessly overflowed into the other sections of the tray. When I tried to fill the tray quickly, the water spilled out and made a mess. Later on that day, I heard a prophetic message on Youtube about overflow, highlighting God’s blessings and abundance. After listening, I considered that the ice tray revelation may carry a two- fold meaning.

Initially, I perceived the spillage as a result of my hasty efforts. Though that was true, the prophetic message reminded me that when God is doing the pouring, there is no waste—only increase to whom or whatever God fills. What spills will also benefit those close enough for the blessings to fall upon. Psalm 23 came to mind. David’s, “cup running over” is the LORD’s overflow.
IT TAKES TIME TO CREATE SOMETHING SOLID
Who ever thought a normal household task would teach a life lesson? The steps of filling the ice tray and placing it in the freezer helped me consider the preparation process — and the time it takes to change something from one form to another. The water needed to turn to ice to be used for a certain purpose. No amount of rushing or desire could speed up the freezing process.
DON’T RUSH
God used this analogy to illustrate that there is a certain way to do something to avoid wasting time and resources. Matthew 6:33 says, “seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.” Luke 17:21 says, “…the kingdom of God is within you”! It’s God who abundantly fills us. It’s God who gives the increase.
Following the ice tray message, the Holy Spirit reminded me of a YouTube video I watched recently about “busyness”. The Bishop said, “you’re doing too much”! I chuckled out loud because everything he said was true! He emphasized the significance of quality over quantity while encouraging listeners to focus on value and sustainability in whatever we do. Another timely prophetic message from a sister in Christ admonishes us to pray, seek counsel, pay attention to details, resist temptations to move in haste, and seek God before committing to anything. Both messages are worth watching.
NOTES FROM LAW & WISDOM
Proverbs 16:3 says, “Commit thy works unto the LORD and thy thoughts shall be established”. A portion of Proverbs 23:7 also came to spirit, “as a man thinks in his heart so is he…” . The Bible teaches us that there is a process to creating, building and planning everything. May we remember that it’s God that gives the increase.
Deuteronomy 8:18 says, ” But you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day”. Proverbs 11:14 says, “where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety”. Proverbs 15:22 affirms, “with out counsel, plans go awry, but in the multitude of counselors, they are established”. Lastly, Proverbs 24:6, “for by wise counsel you will wage your own war, and in the multitude of counselors there is safety”.
CHEERS TO VICTORY
May we pour into one place and watch the blessings overflow. May we seek wisdom and heed the guidance of the Holy Spirit in every endeavor. In Jesus name, Amen.

- When God pours there is abundance and overflow.
- Slow down. Rushing always tends to create extra tasks or a setback.
- Focus. Pour in to one area as God leads you and let it overflow.
- Invite God into every move you make. Pray, and seek the LORD’s wisdom, grace and counsel.
- Pay attention. Approach all commitments with conscious awareness!
- Ask. Seek. Find. Trust God. (Matthew 7:7-8, Proverbs 3:5-6)
- Be patient. Wait on God. (Lamentations 3:25, Psalms 27:14, Habakkuk 2:3)
