Happy Valentine’s Day!

Love is literally agape.
Before Valentine’s Day officially ends, I wanted to share 10 love “Lessons On The Glow Up” learned so far.

1. Love is the greatest gift we can give and receive.
2. Love is a power and choice. Sometimes love is easy. Other times it’s not. As we grow in God, we grow in grace.
3. Love cherishes time. Live every minute of it in your skin! Don’t compromise who you truly are for what you think you want. Trust God. Do not be “unequally yoked”!
4. Love is sometimes looking past “what happened” for “why it happened “.
5. Love sometimes requires distance because it’s the healthiest path. “To everything there is a season…”.
6. Love is a kind gesture towards someone that may not deserve it.
7. Love is helping or supporting someone that really needs it— even when they don’t ask.
8. Love is telling the truth even when it may be hard to say or hear.
9. Love is praying for someone that is blinded by pride, fear or hate. Seek the Holy Spirit for wisdom re: engagement 👀. Ok!
10. Love is choosing your battles and not sweating the small stuff. It’s extending mercy when one may know better, but didn’t do better. Humanly speaking, many of us have been on both sides! “Blessed are the merciful…”
*** A BONUS LESSON ***
The right relationships cause us to flourish. The wrong relationships cause us to wither. Observe and consider wisely.

CELEBRATE
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 reminds us that love is patient, kind, respectful, selfless, thinks good things, bears and believes all things and does not fail. Remember the little things, give joyfully, make beautiful memories and savor every moment. Happy Valentine’s Day!
