A Special Testimony
UNCONVENTIONALLY HEALED
IN REAL LIFE
“SURPRISE, SURPRISE…”
“My Time To Rise…”.
While on a fast, a lot of buried issues rose to the surface. I prayed hard to overcome mental blocks, cycles and oppression that I struggled with for years. It was the “en”in my situation. The “unspecified”, “fixed position in place, time or state” we learned about in Made Whole Part 1. I desperately prayed for help and healing I just couldn’t reach on my own.
SMALL SPACE, HUGE ANOINTING!
One Saturday night, I got a strong sense to go to church on Sunday morning. I woke up late but hurried to make it into the building. The space was quaint and crowded. Initially, I said to the usher, “it’s OK, I’ll just go since there isn’t a seat”. She smiled warmly and said, “yes there is”, then asked a lady to move her purse, and insisted that I sit.
I awkwardly squeezed into the row and sat down. Minutes later, the leaders and congregation began to worship and praise God. I joined in, kept to myself, and kept my head on swivel. In that moment, the Holy Spirit revealed how fear and trauma caused me to be unreasonably suspicious and overprotective of myself. I repented within, relaxed, and received present love and provision in the room.
A thunderous praise echoed through the space. The Holy Spirit began to move. People seated in the congregation started to experience deliverance. I praised and prayed in my little corner. Before communion, the Apostle leading service pointed in to the crowd and said, “young lady, come here”. I looked around and noticed all eyes were on me. I said, “who me?” He said, “yes you”! I said, “oh, I don’t want to be on camera.” He removed the device and said, “come stand right here”, while pointing to the ground in front of him. I walked up, and stood where he instructed.
DIVINE INTERVENTION
The first thing the Apostle said was, “you must surrender to God”. Initially, I was confused because I thought I was surrendered. He also said “you can’t fight the battle alone…”. As he continued to minister and prophecy, I melted as God revealed the pain in my heart. The Apostle grabbed anointing oil, laid hands on my head, and casted out the fear, bitterness, and rejection that stifled me. To give context, I knew none of the people personally. The Apostle said things no one knew but God. He commanded addiction to let go, seeing residue of it’s presence in the spirit. It was the work of Holy Spirit.
STAY FREE
Keep God First!
As the Apostle ministered, I experienced deliverance. One clergywoman held me, while another wiped the tears from my face. At the end of the personal ministry moment, the Apostle warned me not to become entangled again in bondage. Right there, I understood that much of my suffering was a result of sin, misaligned thinking, choices and mistakes made in rebellion and ignorance.
God orchestrated an ordained, divine appointment for my healing, deliverance and correction in love. That Sunday was my John 5:14 moment with Jesus. It was an encounter purposed for God’s glory —in my waking life. The experience was a personal Galatians 5:13 and Hebrews 12:5-6 grounding.
GOD MET ME AT THE ALTAR
When I couldn’t get to the water, living water came to me.
Something broke that Sunday. After great suffering, the heavy burden was finally lifted. That night, I slept more peacefully than I did in years. The mental barriers and cycles of confusion instantly ceased. The energy that constrained my efforts for many years was suddenly gone. I regained focus. The secret grief, hardship, fear and heaviness that I carried dissolved.
Like the man laying by the pool of Bethesda, God saw my mistakes, pain and suffering and decided that I was “in that place and condition long enough”. After years of waiting hopelessly, suddenly I rose. God restored me and made me whole in mind, body and spirit. For this, I am eternally grateful. To God be all glory!
A WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”-Jeremiah 29:13
In 2025, Jesus still meets and makes whole those who can’t make it to the healing waters alone. No mistake or sin disqualifies anyone from healing and redemption. I encourage anyone suffering to run to God with a heart of repentance in prayer and be healed. Wait patiently for the Holy Spirit to intervene and guide you to your divine appointment.
A PRAYER
May God lift every heavy burden and heal every broken heart. May God restore every soul,and strengthen the faith and heart of those that trust and hope in Him. May the Son make free those who are bound and everlasting life, love, joy, and peace be upon all. In Jesus Name, Amen.

- In a world with billions of people, God still sees us. God loves us and our well being matters.
- God can use anyone to bless you at anytime. Follow the prompting of the Holy Spirit.
- Powerful experiences happen in community fellowship. Matthew 18:20 says, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them”. Some healing requires the laying on of hands or other gifts that God placed in others for the edification and healing of the Body. We’re one on Christ.
