“God with us”.

Deuteronomy 31:8
KJV
“8 And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.”

ONWARD AND UPWARD
When there’s nowhere to go but forward.
My life was full of opportunities for God to get the glory out of. If you know anything about this walk, you get my drift. Deuteronomy 31:8 came to my spirit in a moment of contemplation. Situations I had no answers for were lined up like a fresh carton of eggs. I waited, curled up in a chair for divine instructions forward.
The Holy Spirit dropped this word through heart flutters and trying to control my emotions amidst others experiencing theirs. I sat in silence, allowing all uneasy thoughts and energies surrounding me to be free. Stillness constrained me from trying to “save” anyone from discomfort or suppress my own. This time, I resisted calling or texting someone to “rescue” or distract me from the feeling. We already prayed. God heard us. Instead, I chose to breathe, observe, and reach for the residing Light inside.
“Be Strong & Courageous”
“God has not given us a spirit of fear, but power love and soundness of mind.”- 2 Timothy 1:7
WHEW!
Call it a breakthrough because the “old me” would have freaked out under the familiar kind of pressure that resurfaced. The “fruit of the Spirit” kicked in—in real time. Like Joshua, this moment requires many of us to “be strong and of good courage”. Stepping forward into new territory or a path unknown can be daunting. I’m not sure what you may be facing or feeling but, Deuteronomy 31:6-8 and Joshua 1:9 were sent to reassure us. God is and will be with us wherever we go. The same God that delivered, covered, guided and rescued his people from Adam to Jesus, is the same God that goes ahead of us in 2024.
God promises that he will never fail us or leave us. We’re told to not be anxious, discouraged, stressed or frightened. The God of the entire universe loves us and is for us. Our Advocate covers our sin and hinder parts. Let’s hold on to faith. God makes “everything beautiful in it’s time”.

- The Word of God is alive and it works.
- Jesus graced us peace. Be comforted in His unfailing word.
- Be still. God got this.
