“Love from Psalm 91, 23 & A Little Transparency”
A LITTLE TRANSPARENCY
Today was especially challenging. I prayed to combat feelings of hopelessness through a tough situation. I asked God to relieve stress and heaviness. When I didn’t know what else to pray or say, I was reminded of a looping YouTube video I listened to last week titled “Divine Intervention” by Inspirational Prayers. The video recited prayers for listeners using Psalm 91 and 23. When I initially heard it, I listened for hours and shared it with loved ones. Revisiting the video was timely considering my state.
FUEL TO POWER THROUGH
In order to break up my thought pattern, I coupled listening with an action to shift my focus. At first, I thought to exercise. After a half jumping jack in the wrong gear (ha!), I decided to cook dinner instead. After listening and repeating the prayers, I was led to share my experience and the resource that helped.
God’s presence is always with us. Sometimes we need a reminder. May these psalms and prayers uplift and encourage whoever needs it. May we remember God’s protection, provision and defense through hardships.
