What is the most important thing to carry with you all the time?
When I read this prompt, grace came to mind immediately. Life experience taught that grace is necessary to give and to receive. I learned that when we are hard on ourselves, we become stony and unyielding to others. When we punish or condemn ourselves, we become unforgiving and merciless towards others.
Grace is a valuable commodity for the soul. If we carry it with kindness and compassion for ourselves, it naturally reaches those around us. Grace is a beautiful treasure responsible for the courage to try again, live again and love again. Grace frees us to seize the moment. Grace gives us the power to choose life.
