“Abundant life in the True Light’”

A WALK, A SIGN , AND A MESSAGE ON THE GO!

REAL LOVE

I took a walk to shake off feelings of discontentment. A sign in peripheral view said “Your Power, Your Life”. It was a sign from Heaven. It was exactly what I needed to see to extricate me from the invisible walls closing in . The Holy Spirit reminded me of John 10:10. The words on the van cautioned me to stay in the present.

THE THIEF CAN COME IN THOUGHTS

Ever have a moment of gratitude and minutes later, something outside or a thought inside completely shifts the mood? Suddenly, we’re mad, sad, disappointed or discontented. Instantly, we begin meditating about what’s “wrong” or “missing”. Instead of celebrating the things going right, we see “the glass half full”.

If we aren’t watchful, we can emotionally engage what ever “feeling” presents itself subconsciously. Rather than perceive discomfort as a cue to make a change; we can be drawn into “energy” that provokes the bleak opposite. If it brings you down or feels wrong, it is. Negative influence, of any kind, is from “the other side”. It’s on a mission to distract or deceive.

When we remember this, it’s easier to choose our thoughts. When we are cognizant, we can remove ourselves from environments or attempts to sway us from peace. There is nothing “life like” about feelings of lack, guilt, condemnation or oppression. As long as we abide in the Vine, we receive strength and new sight in the moment to persevere.

Understanding that God’s will is to prosper and not harm us, helps us to discern thoughts and motivations much easier. Even when obstacles arise, there are two ways of looking at it. Either, we need to make a change or change the way we see what we’re looking at. Come on Holy Ghost!!!

The truth extracts eerie thoughts. There is no greater care than learning and accepting the truth about who we are. The litter or disarray we’ve adopted can be changed by the power divinely granted in us. It takes practice to choose the good we’re meant to retain and chuck the rest.

VIBE CHECK

We are fighting something we can’t see with natural eyes. God teaches us how to recognize the enemy’s presence and mischief. The fruit of the flesh shows us what to check in ourselves. It also reveals what to pray about in others in love and meekness. Usually, when the vibe is off within, it indicates that an adversary came to disturb the peace, joy, love, faith, soundness of mind; and all things God graciously gave to us. Jesus warns us of many things in order to preserve our time, energy, and the beautiful gift of life He gives.

11 “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.”

John 15:11
